The Kymara Gallery is a showcase for the finest international modern and contemporary artists. A remarkable inventory of historic original fine art is available to the discerning collector. Established in 1985, the gallery has been serving New England for over twenty years. Since 1985, The Kymara Gallery has represented the finest international and regional artists and musicians. Originally located in the carriage house of our Victorian inn, located in the village of Kennebunkport, Maine, the gallery houses a large inventory of modern art and music. We feature folk, outsider, religious, surrealist, sexually deviant, and pop art, as well as an original music library. Since we believe that art has no boundaries, we host three day pop up "Happenings" in unique, historic locations, such as the Chelsea Hotel, NYC. During these events our artists work in collective groups which reflect their unique cultural and artistic identities to create installations that include art, music, performance and design. Our goal is to step outside of the traditional gallery walls to link anarchist gay art, underground art and, counter-culture music and performance to the world. Kymara's professional management team is dedicated to providing the highest level of artistic representation. We can be found in our original location 3 Temple Street, Kennebunkport, Maine and at The North Dam Mill, 2 Main Street, Biddeford, Maine.
